Welcome to VIP Home Solution. By engaging our services for bathroom, toilet, flooring renovation, painting, or double glazing, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully as they outline your rights, obligations, and the terms under which our services are provided.

1. Scope of Services

1.1. We provide renovation and repair services, including:

• Bathroom and toilet renovations.

• Flooring installation and refinishing.

• Interior and exterior painting.

• Double glazing installation and repair.

1.2. All services are carried out with reasonable care, skill, and in accordance with the agreed scope of work detailed in the quotation or contract.

2. Quotations and Payments

2.1. All quotations are valid for 30 days from the date of issuance.

2.2. A deposit of 25-50% (depending on the project scope) is required before work begins. Full payment is due upon completion unless otherwise agreed in writing.

2.3. Additional work outside the agreed scope may incur extra charges.

3. Materials and Warranties

3.1. Materials supplied by us are warranted for six months unless otherwise specified.

3.2. If the client supplies materials, we are not liable for their quality or defects.

3.3. Any warranties on materials provided by third parties are subject to the supplier’s terms and conditions.

4. Workmanship Guarantee

4.1. We guarantee our workmanship for a period of six months from the date of project completion. This includes repairs or adjustments required due to faults in our workmanship.

4.2. The guarantee does not cover:

• Wear and tear or misuse.

• Damage caused by third parties or external factors (e.g., weather, accidents).

• Issues arising from materials not supplied by us.

4.3. Any claims under this guarantee must be submitted in writing within the warranty period.

5. Cancellation and Changes

5.1. Cancellations must be made at least 7 days before the scheduled start date. Failure to do so may result in forfeiture of the deposit.

5.2. Any changes to the agreed scope of work must be agreed upon in writing and may result in additional charges.

6. Customer Obligations

6.1. The customer must provide access to the property during agreed working hours and ensure the work area is free from obstructions.

6.2. The customer is responsible for obtaining necessary permissions or permits unless otherwise agreed.

7. Liability

7.1. We are insured for public liability and damages up to £[insert coverage amount]. A copy of our insurance certificate is available upon request.

7.2. Our liability is limited to the value of the contract and excludes:

• Indirect or consequential damages.

• Loss of use, income, or business.

7.3. We are not liable for delays caused by unforeseen circumstances (e.g., weather, supplier issues).

8. Complaints and Dispute Resolution

8.1. Any complaints should be submitted in writing within 14 days of the issue arising.

8.2. We aim to resolve disputes amicably. If unresolved, disputes may be referred to a mediation service or the UK court system.

9. Termination

9.1. We reserve the right to terminate the contract if the customer fails to fulfill their obligations or violates these terms.

9.2. In such cases, all completed work will be invoiced, and the customer must settle the outstanding balance.

10. Force Majeure

10.1. We are not liable for delays or inability to fulfill the contract due to events beyond our control, including but not limited to natural disasters, strikes, or governmental actions.

11. Privacy and Data Protection

11.1. We collect and process customer data in accordance with the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.

11.2. Personal information is only used to fulfill our contractual obligations and will not be shared with third parties without consent.

12. Governing Law

12.1. These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

12.2. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

13. Condition of Existing Structures

13.1. Our services are performed with reasonable care and skill; however, we cannot guarantee against unforeseen issues that may arise due to the age, condition, or structural integrity of the building.

13.2. Examples of such issues include but are not limited to:

• Damage caused by aged or degraded plumbing, wiring, or structural materials.

• Hidden defects such as rot, mold, or subsidence.

• Interruption of services (e.g., water, electricity) due to fragile infrastructure.

13.3. If unexpected issues arise during the course of the work, we will:

• Inform the customer immediately.

• Provide recommendations and a separate quotation for any additional work required to address the issue.

13.4. We are not liable for:

• Costs associated with repairs or upgrades to existing infrastructure unrelated to our work.

• Delays caused by addressing unforeseen issues.

• Structural damages or failures that are pre-existing or result from natural conditions.

13.5. We strongly recommend that customers of older properties ensure their building is inspected for structural integrity, plumbing, and electrical safety before renovation begins.

• Workmanship: 6 months.

• Material warranty: As per supplier’s terms or 6 months if supplied by us.
